Overall their service is average to poor. If I was to own a property and need management I would look elsewhere given my experiences with being a tenant. Property checks are infrequent. They don\'t appear to act on the advice of the contracted surveyors they have sent around several times in our tenancy to do checks on the house/electrics. Solving problems in the property have taken weeks to months of harassment on our part to get solved. They are very reluctant to spend money on the property in maintenance. But they are quick to demand money for things, especially rent that might be delayed in the bank because of weekends or public holidays.
If you\'re a prospective tenant - they don\'t offer an amazing service. But they\'re not the worst agents in the world.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Respond to email quicker. Allow for reasonable delays in rent payment caused by public holidays or weekends. Provide feedback on assessments of the property conducted by their surveyors, even if they don\'t plan on doing anything.
