Quite possibly the worst letting agents I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I don\'t even know where to begin. Of course during the period of searching and viewing the properties they were all sweetness and light, encouraging and attentive. That was until we\'d signed the contract and handed over the money. From then on the experience was a complete nightmare. Countless repairs needed doing in the property, including broken furniture, problems with windows etc. To get anything done required at least 3 weeks worth of phone calls and visits to the office. The secretary/admin assistant is completely useless. Every time I went in she wrote down the problem on some scrap of paper which she subsequently lost as she had no record of it the next time we went in. They treated us with contempt as though we were difficult tenants, even though what we were asking for was completely normal and necessary. When an issue arose requiring the approval of the landlord, we went into the office every day for about a month and were told repeatedly that they were unable to contact him. When we finally came to vacate the property that\'s when they became really nasty. We were hit with a massive bill for work that we could have carried out ourselves. We were given no quote, rather the work was done without our knowledge. I suspect the men in the office, were they not working there, would be dealing in stolen cars. They remind me a little of some of the thugs in a typical English soap opera. The agency are now claiming that they no longer manage the property and we have had to raise a case with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme in order to retrieve any of the deposit. Would definitely NOT recommend this agency.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They would need to completely change their personalities or the staff in the office. They are incompetent and quite frankly rude and intimidating.

This review is written by a tenant who fell out with the other tenants to such an extent that relations between her and the others had broken down and she left the property before the end of the tenancy. She wanted to put "a friend" in the property to take her place (without permission from the other tenants). When this was put to the other tenants , two of them said they were not in agreement with this arrangement. This request was not only a matter for approval by the landlord but also the other tenants. The landlords are overseas and at the time had problems with their e-mail. As it had been established that the other tenants did not want a stranger to move in, there was little point wasting time pursuing it with the landlord. When the tenancy ended we were asked by the landlord to ensure that the garden was returned to the tidy state iit was in when they moved in. it was evident from the check out inventory that the garden was left heavily overgrown. Keys were returned to the office by the tenants in varying stages. Although this person moved out before the end of the tenancy, the key was not returned until it ended wiithout this person having gone to the property to see how it was left. With regard to maintenance issues, it is recorded in our maintenance log (described as "scrappy bits of paper") that a member of our staff went to the property on 21st June 2012 to let in a trademan to rectiify a boiler prblem. This tradesman would not carry out works without someone being present. The tenants were unable to be there due to lectures!!! It was not our responsbility to let tradesmen in however we obliged.

A few days later one of the tenants, on passing by, popped in to thank us for our help.
