Do not pay these people a penny! Absolutely rubbish service level. They don't follow up unless you ask them to. Our sell has dragged on for almost a year now. Excuses after excuses and all to keep us sucked in! I know some of it is the buyer's fault but that does not excuse Chancellors for their lack of responsibility to chase and follow up with the buyer and their solicitor. What do we pay these traditional agents for otherwise. Why not go with an online agent?! Ridiculous how long we have waited and now we are still stuck in this nightmare where we don't know where we stand with this buyer who now keeps saying they are waiting for their mortgage offer. This was over a month ago. Why haven't they found the real reason why it's still not moving forward? We are pulling the plug on Chancellor today. Useless agent. The bigger the name the worst they are. Zero sense of duty to their customers. Stop going to these so called high street agents who think they can just lure you in just because they have a shop front. It means nothing and I see no reason to pay them more than an online agent. None whatsoever! Unbelievably appalling service.
