We arranged to rent a property through them and was a nightmare from start to finish. Thank god they are not managing the property.
After arriving to pay the deposit they didn\'t tell us that we had to pay cash. We then had to go away and find the cash. I asked if we can pay on card for the bond and months rent in advance and was told we could.
We were then given a moving in date so arranged with our current landlord to move out with enough time to move and clean the current property. One week before the arranged date we received an email putting the dates back leaving us only a couple days to complete the move.
We then turned up to pay the final balance and collect the keys. After signing all of the contracts they then informed us we had to find nearly £1500 in cash!!!!! They don\'t even have a card machine. I didn\'t realise that when entering the building we were teleported back to the 80\'s!!!!! The snotty woman tried to explain that they had to deal with clear funds. She obviously doesn\'t have a clue how modern banking works!!!
I then offered to make an instant bank transfer and was told they had no way to check if the funds have cleared. Embarrassing!!!!
If we knew this before hand we would never have paid the deposit. We then had to borrow the money off family that don\'t really have the cash spare. We couldn\'t take the keys so had even less time to move in.
