They say that moving house is stressful and they couldn\'t be more right, but the whole process was made a million times easier by Sherard and all of the friendly staff at Ludlow Thompson.
On taking us to see the house Sherard was knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions regarding the area, the fittings, our rights as tenants. He made it clear when we put in the offer what we expected from the Landlord in terms of furnishings and decorations, working with us to make sure we got what we wanted. He was very good at contacting us whilst waiting for our offer to be accepted, and this was all done in a timely manner. When there were issues with the contract, he showed the utmost patience and professionalism whilst working through this with us, and I really do believe he went "the extra mile" in supporting us. He has taken us clearly through the different options that we have for contracts/moving in/paying fees, and the communication has been fantastic throughout. It is obvious he is really very keen to do a good job for us as tenants; he isn\'t just in it to get the house rented, but make sure it\'s right for all parties.
Lois has also been great with sorting out our somewhat complicated referencing, and has been clear at getting back to us with what we need to do and what she needs us to send in.
Overall, the agency itself is a friendly office and all of the staff there seem really professional. The fact that the agency are not willing to let a property unless they are satisfied that it\'s safe in terms of gas/electrics/security is very reassuring. They whole process has changed my opinion of estate agents, and I can\'t thank Sherard enough for "just doing his job". I\'d definitely recommend them to anyone.
