Not only did this company manage to leave my front door unlocked on 2 seperate occasions after leaving my property thus invalidating my contents insurance they proceeded to apologize the first time blaming the landlord of which they were there with at the time they left open a 2nd time after blaming that they didnt understand that the front door needed to be locked as thought close automatically disgusted with the treatment I received after blaming anyone and everyone for what happened and that was nothing to do with them to the next email telling me that they were legally responsible for the property when asked for contact information of the landlord, further broke tenants rights twice more by allowing work men in my flat without permission came across as extremely unhelpful and would do anything to save their own skin.

Awful experience. Great to have a site where renters get a voice. Agents in Brighton are notorious for ripping off tenants. They think we have to just take it, we have to do something about this. Why didn't the Mortgage Protection Service protect this guy? And agents - why do they just represent the landlord?? ...

You are paying to obfuscate the process of finding somewhere to live rather than to make it easier. You are giving people money for nothing, no skill, no service (that couldn't be automated). And on top of that they speak with you with contempt and derision whilst they take your money.

To clarify Brand Vaughan do not insist on using our mortgage brokers for their mortgage when buying a property. However, we do ask buyers who have made an offer, that our mortgage brokers financially qualify the offer, so we can with confidence confirm the financial ability to proceed to our vendor.
