They get the rent from you faithfully on time by direct debit, unfortunately when it comes to having your DEPOSIT repaid at end of tenancy that is when the PROBLEMS and LIES start, tenancy ended in June 2012, now 23 August 2012 and still no refund, rang agent end of July and was told the guy who deals with refunds was on Honeymoon and that no other member of staff had the authority to deal with refunds. On 13 August he was back from Honeymoon and rang again and was assured by the agent that he was processing my refund and it would be in the post by 20 August still not received, rang them and was assured it had been posted, still had not received by 22 August 2012, WHOOPS, apparently OUR CHEQUE had fallen out of post tray and had not been posted, again ASSURED it would be posted on 22 August and that we would receive it by 23 AUGUST, sadly more lies it never arrived. All you get from 2Rent Me Dundee - EMPTY PROMISES.
What agent could do to change your mind?
I feel that the owner of this agency should take responsibility to the customer, they should have a better system of payment of refunds - online banking might help, another trusted member of staff who could deal with the matter if the person goes on holiday/is ill/on honeymoon!
