from my experience, the agents arent the problem. its the company as a whole which is disastrous. theres total lack of communication between the agents however, each of them tell you something totally different. like i was promised my deposit would be in on friday 17th by one agent, and then told that its impossible to know from another, and from another agent they\'re waiting for the contractor to get back to them. i mainly dealt with stuart throughout the year i lived there and he was overall the best agent to speak to, but happens to work for a incompetent and useless company.
What agent could do to change your mind?
cryers are an absolute disgrace. the day i moved in last year, the house was disgusting, totally uninhabitable to the degree that i went back home for the weekend till it was supposed to be sorted. they got cleaners in, who supposedly managed to clean an 8 bedroom house in the space of a few hours, but surprise surprise didn\'t touch my bedroom. there was mould all along the walls of my bedroom, in which their solution was to wipe it off and told me to buy mould and mildew cleaner to do it when it comes back. when i complained further, i got told it was my fault there was mould in my room which is complete rubbish. after living their for about 9/10 months and continuous complaining they finally sorted my room and put in ventilation, just a couple of months before i was moving out and is now summer time. all through winter i had to live in a damp, rancid room which resulted in a persistent chesty cough and hundreds of pounds worth of mouldy clothes, shoes and bags. the job took a couple of hours to do and sorted the problem, so why they didnt do it at the beginning is ridiculous. alongside that, we all had problems in the house that were complained about but again, cryers did nothing. we cleaned the house top to bottom out of courtesy when we moved out, despite the contract stating we have to leave the house the state we found it in which was vile so didnt have to do clean at all, we still did. its been 7 weeks since i moved out and moved into a new house by a different agency obviously, and i\'m still yet to recieve my deposit. again, numerous phonecalls and visits later, still not any closer to getting it back. i have truly had enough of them messing me around, i want my money back i have nothing to do with them ever again. worst letting agency.
