When selling my house I met with 3 agents, Tim Giles of Yopa being one of them. I knew within the first couple of minutes that he was the agent for us. He was calm, straight talking and professional. He wasn't pushy and I was confident that if instructed, he would carry out his duties as our agent efficiently and with our best interests at heart - we were not disappointed. Agents have a bad name for themselves, but Tim was excellent. The photos were taken with care and the property was on the market within 48 hours. We paid a nominal fee for Tim to conduct the viewings and he had a sale agreed within 10 days. Would recommend Yopa in general but it was plain sailing with Tim at the helm.
Comment on agent fees
Simple and straight forward. Flat fees offer transparency in an industry that is shrouded in consumer mistrust. High Street agents need to up their game and evolve, this is how we want to sell our homes.

I'm really sorry you received poor service from Guy, he is no longer within the Yopa business and has employment with a different estate agency in Cambridgeshire. I am upset at the accusations being made against me as they lack foundation.
With regards to my frustration at them not choosing me, they had asked me to come out on a Saturday morning to value their flat which I did. I gave them an estimated value based upon recent sale prices in the area.
