I came to live in Milton Keynes one year ago and rented a flat with my friend from Alan Francis agency. During this year we didn`t have any problems except when we moved it was August and we didn`t pay attention that it`s very cold due to single glazed window frames with holes inside and that shower is almost not working. They haven`t done anything about that. When after one year paid rent (always on time) and no problems at all we said that we are moving started all misunderstandings and all problems. At first when we said that we are looking for another house and would like to stay like clients in this agency in 3 weeks they didn`t let us to view any house. Once we arranged the viewing, came by the house on time but we waited 30 min and no one didn`t come to show us the house, when we called them they said that they don`t have any appointments on this time to view a house, but where from then we know the address where to go? obviously misunderstanding! Then we tried to arrange another viewing of this property, but it was unsuccessful as well because they gave us time after 4 days and when we called them on that date to make sure we can view a house they said that`s already taken by someone, but they didn`t call us to cancel the appointment so we waited, waisted our time with hope to see it and they didn`t even call us. After that we went to the agency and said that we are very disappointed of how they are working and that we don`t want to stay like clients. They apologized and explained that they have new people and they confusing everything but they are very sorry about that and like to express how sorry they are they will show us another two properties and move our deposit to a new property, just they need to talk with people who live there to arrange the time of viewing and they will call me today to confirm the time of viewing,unfortunately i believed in this lie. I waited all that day and next one but they didn`t call. Again waisted my time. And we have misunderstandings like that with viewings about 10 times. We tried to call, to went in agency, spoke with about 8 different persons but they all they said were sorry and more promises. I couldn`t understand why it`s happening because we were really good tenants they didn`t have any problems with us, with payments of rent or anything. So the only one explanation i found is that they are too big company who do not respect their clients and do not need them... I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!
By the way when we said that we are moving we have even more problems . They came to property we were living in without our permission when we were not at home and showed it to another people. When we said that we are not happy that some strangers are coming to view our home where we keeping our money and stuff when we are not at home they said that they can do nothing about that because they need to rent that property to someone despite that we let to see our property every day before 1 pm.
One more thing about deposit all the time they said that deposit they will refund in the same bank account where we have been paying rent. But when they needed to refund it they sent us in check despite that we said we need money as soon as possible because we going on holiday and need to pay a rent so again they promised us to refund it in a week but it took 2 weeks. And one more thing i paid rent on 3rd day of each month so we moved on 1st day (2 days earlier) and i didn`t know that i need to cancel the rent payment due to tenancy agreement cancellation so they took one more rent from my account and to get it back i needed to call them twice and went to the office once and just then i got it back in two weeks. So i don`t recommend this agency to any one in two months we had so many problems that it`s hard to explain how angry and disappointed we are.

I have to say this review is rather unfair and unreasonable. And badly written.

We are very sorry the these ex tenants are disappointed at the end of the tenancy, unfortunately at the time they were looking for new accommodation we had no subtable properties, however, they must have been happy with our service as they wished to remain as clients.The deposit was returned in full within four days of the check out and it is the tenants responsiblity to cancel their standing order at the end of the tenancy as it is their instructions to their bank. this is clearing stated in the terms and condition and in the checkout notes.
