I lived in 2 properties with Royal Docks and overall they are a very good estate agent. The property manager (Nicky) in particular was very helpful and effective and they were good at getting things sorted.
I would recommend for renting but with caution if your landlord wants to sell your property.
The first property we lived in was sold. We were never given formal notice to leave the property and were told we had to move out via whatsapp message. Also, during this process the new owner was told he would be moved in before we moved out and about 3 weeks before the end of our contract we started getting all his post and he tried to get his internet installed in our house. When mentioned to Royal Docks we were told 'yer we thought he was being ambitious with the date' despite us having paid to be there for 3 more weeks.
In the second property, 2 weeks after resigning the tenancy agreement, we were told the landlord wanted to sell and we were asked to move in to the landlords other property down the street. I told the estate agent that I was going on holiday and asked him to hold the other property for a week until I got back. This was denied and then by the time I got back, it had been let. We then had to live with the stress of expecting our notice period at any minute.
Overall they are good but they definitely favour landlords over tenants, but fine if you're not planning on renting for a long time.
