The worst agency I ever came across. Agents couldn't care less about any of our enquiries once we put our deposit down and signed the contract. A day before we meant to move in, in the afternoon, we received a call that we won't be able to move in when agreed and "need to" arrange different date! No sorry, no explanation, no proposal of resolving the issue so we wouldn't have to book another man with a van, take another days off work and organise someone to babysit our little baby. They just expected us to lose money for a van we already booked, pay extra for staying in our old place while already paying rent for new house and living with small child on boxes for God knows how long. After difficult conversation we've been told that it's all because they have not noticed there's smoke detectors missing while doing inventory! So for their mistake we couldn't move in. Lady on a phone just kept repeating that she understands we are upset but it's just the way it is. Again, no apology or even willingness to sort it out so we could move in. We literally felt like we're doing her job for her when we started suggesting possible solutions: send workers to install smoke alarms, get emergency once if needed, or let us sign a paper with agreement that they would install them asap as we move in... We kept getting different excuses for all suggestions. My partner offered he'd travel by train to Liverpool that day to sign what necessary and then pick up the keys so we could just go with what we agreed to in a first place but because it was already late afternoon the lady wasn't even willing to stay extra 15 minutes after hours until my partner arrived to their office. Awful experience, lack of understanding and very bad rude attitude...
In The end we requested talking to her boss but she said apparently he's on.holiday and she doesn't want to bother him. We didn't care at this point and demanded to call him regardless. She finally did and after a quick talk with him it turned out that all she has to do is to get our signed acknowledgement that alarms willbe fitted next week and we can move in tomorrow... All that stress just because she didn't care at all about young couple with a baby potentially loosing a lot of money...
If that wasn't enough the attitude of not caring just continued when we started reporting all issues in a house. It's been a YEAR and most of them are still not resolved. Only positive thing are their workers who actually did a good job once the agency and landor gave them permission to repaint and refresh mouldy back room. Shame that it took over 3 months and 4 different contractors doing exactly same reports till someone finally done something.
It takes ages then to fix anything or receive any information from agents. Only time they quite quick and productive is when they're trying to sell you the property. Even then though when asked to call the landlord with a question we had the agent saying "nah, I don't think landlord will agree to that, but house is very popular and you should take it regardless" just because she was too lazy to make one phonecall.
AVOID!
