They basically blamed us for damages to the flat that were occurring due to problems with the building (which we highlighted to the landlord) they withheld our deposit blaming us for the damage and threatened to take more money from us than the cost of the damage if the case went to the tenancy deposit scheme, basically they said that if it went to a dispute the cost for fixing the damage would be higher (how can it be a different price) they pushed for a settlement knowing that we would give in rather than wait for a month or so because we needed that money to move into our new place(s)

Dear Jim,
I'm sorry to hear you are unsatisfied with our service at Castle but are you sure it was Castle in Ealing or Hanwell you dealt with as we are unfamiliar with the scenario described. All our properties have inventories prepared by independent companies that are completely impartial making deposit disputes like the one you have experienced unlikely and improbable. In the event of an unresolved dispute the decision on deposits are made by an independent case examiner from the tenancy deposit scheme, you should have used this service had you been unhappy with any proposed deductions,it is there for your protection.
I would question the validity of the above review however I am available to discuss this further if required.
