We were buying a buy to let property. We saw the property concerned and Lewis was very helpful and honest about the true value of the property and it\'s potential letting value. He negotiated quickly with the vendors and always kept us informed by phone immediately about any other offers and the situation of any other potential purchasers so that we were able to make a well informed judgement for our final offer. Our offer was accepted and Lewis has now helped us proceed to completion with him liaising with electriciand and plumbers who had to make inspections pre-completion.
On the other side, he was obviously on good terms with the vendors so he was able to help us by getting details about the property that fell outside of the solicitors normal queries - it\'s often the small matters that you need to know about.
Finally, when we said that we would be interested in another similar property, he came back in a week with details of another property which has proceed without hitchand we complete in a couple of days time.
Rachel was our initial contact with Bradleys in this branch and always kept us informed via e-mails about new properties coming on the market - these were well-targeted and not the usual mails that I get where the agent hasn\'t listened or made a note of what we were specifically interested in... Such a waste of time for all concerned.
We have signed up for Bradleys to manage the lets on these 2 properties and so far, compared with other agents we use for other propeties outside the area, they could prove good value for money in terms of % management fees - however need to have time to consider the service in this area. If they are good, we would have no hesitation in going back to Lewis in Cowick Street branch to buy another property and would highly recommend him as an agent as a potential purchaser. I also would commend his drive and knowledge of the local market so if we were to sell in the future, we would consider using him in this capacity.
