If you had a gun to my head and said:
\'Live in Flat 3 Exeter Court with Around Town Flats as you\'re letting agent\'

I\'d say:
\'Fire away friend, I never want to live through that ever again\'

Awful agents, flat was a mess when moved in, didn\'t sort damp problem, CONSISTENTLY entered the property without asking for any sort of permission. (Someone had had the temerity to make themselves a coffee once!) Made no effort to sort out TV aerial issues, failed to tell us all the wires to phone lines had been cut (why?) the list goes on and on.

And then when we moved out, they decided to make up a massive amount of errors which conveniently came to the total of the deposit. Don\'t even get me started on the £75 check out fee, it seems like someone has been paid that to come up with as wild as possible reasons not to give us our deposit back, things such as \'Laundering of Curtains\' £40, replacement door handles £25 I wouldn\'t mind apart from the fact that they were never there in the first place and the item of furniture in question couldn\'t have cost more than a fiver.

Avoid at all costs...unless of course you enjoy your privacy being invaded, being lied too and generally receiving a shoddy and expensive service.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The office seems to be a carousel of people who aren\'t sure what they want to do with their career yet.

We are always sorry when a Tenant does not feel they have received the great service we work hard to deliver. We would love to clarify the incident that Matt refers to with contractors attending and making a coffee for themselves as this was not brought to our attention during the tenancy. We are puzzled about Matt's comments on the inventory queries and estimates provided within 24 hours of end of tenancy following the check out inventory as the initial estimates were 50% of the value of the deposit. It appears this included the inventory fee (which Matt refers to as a check out fee) which Matt signed an agreement to pay before the start of the tenancy. All costs relating to taking a property through our agency are provided in writing prior to the start of a tenancy - a form we ask our applicants to sign and date so we know they have been advised of these in advance. We are aware that we are still waiting for confirmation from Matt that finals bills have been paid and that our Deposit co-ordinator Carol is finalising deposit return with Matt.
