Having just departed a flat rented by Gordon Shields I am very happy with the service I received.
Usually feels as though letting agents are there to act on behalf of the landlord and have no interest in working for the tenant. Gordon Shields is different, they were always quick to solve any problems that arose and the relationship felt genuinely mutually beneficial, I never felt ripped off or mistreated which is all too common in this industry.
Gordon Shields is easily the best letting agent that I had the pleasure of dealing with during my 8 years of renting in Glasgow.

I totally agree with you Pete,they are losing landlords money, hand over fist ,by their attitude towards potential tenants ,they seem to have delusions off grandeur and landlords are having to reduce their rents or their property is lying empty for long periods, of course they have to vet potential tenants to protect clients property but surely if they are given references and 6 months rent in advance plus a deposit this should be sufficient. ...

What agent could do to change your mind?
A simple response, Apology and getting a viewing at a time that is conveinent is Great Service - thats the difference small family companies have over larger competitors - you are not using your advantage very well. Train you staffAttached Filesnbsp;
