The property details published for the sale were inaccurate, a floor plan was not loaded. Details of the maintenance charges were not included.
We received little if any feedback from people that had viewed the property.
Prospective purchasers were not vetted regarding their readiness to purchase or whether they could afford the property.
When a buyer was found the branch commenced negotiations with the two people involved as if they were different buyers.
We ended up negotiating the price with the purchasers direct.
No confirmation of the purchase offer was ever received.
The Agents did nothing to follow up the sale.
There was no chain involved but getting to completion took 5 months in part because queries arose from the buyers about information that should have been disclosed in the sale details.
The buyers became so frustrated with Bairstow Eves they refused to deal with them.
Our complaint about their services was originally ignored and when we escalated the complaint all the points or poor service were ignored and we were told "well we found you a buyer".
This should have been a straight forward quick sale, instead we had to nurse the purchasers through the process keeping them sweet to prevent them pulling out because of the poor information given to them by Bairstow Eves at the start of the process.
I will never use Bairstow Eves again their customer service is non existent
