Helpful, although at some points we felt as though we were slightly "pushed" and didn\'t have a great deal of support. For new tenants it would be nice moving forwards if you could offer some additional guidance and support as at times it felt as though the company were keen to just take the monmey and hand over the keys...
Once the process has been complete and Romans had received money, there was no /very little contact/communication and everything we were told to deal directly with the landlord about. My friend also had to take various days off work to meet Caty to give references/proof of bank statements, etc when after he left he received a later phone call from Caty that day, after he had laeft work to say that KeySafe would accept what they already had as proof so he lost a day\'s pay for no reason. Next time it would be nice if we can complete all processes through one organisation rather than getting re-routed between Romans/KeySafe...It would also be nice to deal with one person rather than being switched over between branches from one person to another...(switched from Marianna to Caty).
We also were also told on the day before we had to move in to rush to get all documents to ROmans by 3:00PM just because there was a company party happening that night whcih meant that again we had to take time off work to dash tot he office in town to hand over all documents just to enable your colleagues to leave early to attend a party. That didn\'t seem particularly professional.
Other than the above, and this is our first real experience with a letting agent, a fairly average service received.
What agent could do to change your mind?
As above...Although we have nothing to compare against.>>
We are not against Romans, but have had no other experience with any other letting agents so could not comment. Would not disapprove nor recommend but stay completely unbiased.
