Really happy with the service I received from Charles Harding on the sale of a property. I originally spoke to three different estate agencies in order to choose one to represent me. Dawn Warren from Charles Harding was very fair and straight-talking from the beginning. She was very realistic in her valuation of the property. I didn't feel the need to negotiate on her opening commission fee and tie-in period because it felt like a fair position, whereas I felt like the other two agencies were playing a bit of a game with a high valuation/long tie-in period or the reverse. I felt like I could trust Dawn from the beginning and this was the reason why I chose Charles Harding.
Dawn had a clear approach to marketing my property, wasted no time in arranging photographs, EPC, marketing, arranging appointments and just got the job done. She found a couple of potential purchasers very quickly and I was very pleased at how efficient the process was.
There was one outstanding point which the two sets of solicitors seemed to be having endless correspondence on. James Griffiths was very pragmatic and helpful. He offered to visit the property on his way home to resolve the matter, then reported back to the solicitors. Simple but effective.
Between Dawn and James I felt I was getting a really good "local" firm service (ie hands on, good communication, effective and flexible) on a fair basis.
I wouldn't hesitate to use Charles Harding again.
