In terms of communication and service the agents are respectable and professional. They are good with highlighting issues, and providing the right advise for any matter that occurs.
One thing I would point out is that the agents might need to be more strict with the tenants. My tenants have made changes in my house without my permission, the agent sent them a notice period letter which the tenants declared that they didn't receive it. Also the tenant refused inspections by us even though we gave enough time and we flexible with the date. lastly they didn't sign the contract for the second year and I would expect that the agents would follow up to ensure that the tenants do.
I Know that the agents might have their hands tied in certain cases, but for the fees one is paying one would expect that the agents would proactively try and put pressure on difficult tenants to keep them in line, especially when it comes to matters that break the legal agreement between us.

I would say the fees are fine, but as a landlord maybe you would expect more reporting on the status of the house and is it being maintained by the renters.

Connells seem no more outrageous than any other estate agent in regards to fees.
