Tom was friendly and helpful from the beginning. I have heard bad reviews about M&M but was so delighted with the property I viewed that I chose to go ahead with gritted teeth. Tom chased the referencing company when I found them to be a bit difficult. Tom kept in touch regularly and was easy to contact. I was really unhappy with the figure M&M charge for referencing plus the move out or renewal charge as I have found other agents that charge one third of the price for the same service! Tom dealt with my gripes professionally. I had to pull out of the rental due to information coming to light regarding some shared ownership properties which I had been waiting on for months and had really given up on in order to rent as I had to move whatever the case. Tom offered to put me in contact with the mortgage advisor and expressed no annoyance that time had been wasted, he was completely understanding of my unfortunate situation.
As an aside: Originally the property was marketed with parking included but I discovered through local contacts this was not the case and on double-checking Tom confirmed this. The property has been put back on the market with correct information.
To conclude I would recommend Tom personally he was reliable and friendly and this made a great impression on me.
Comment on agent fees
The fees are extortionate. £360 is three times the amount other agents charge. I would be interested to see what Let Alliance charge M&M and a breakdown of the cost of applying for the various documents
