We reserved a flat with them back in June based in the promise it was ready to move into. 6 months later and we still live in temporary conditions, and have not been given dates, except dates that ended up not being real. Other details we have been provided along the way turned out to be untrue. Moreover, the agent and the seller are asking for additional fees which were never agreed upon, and that if Claremont actually responds to calls or email. Our financials have been exposed to unauthorised people, we've been given malicious advice including "not to have anything in writing" and "not chase up written contract material" such a statement where exchange dates would be provided within 28 days of reservation. More? They are trying to force us to exchange without composition dates, have called us "over sensitive" when asked that holes in the carpet would be covered during snagging, hung up on us in multiple conversation, and even tried washing their hands out of the deal.
Comment on agent fees
They have taken fees which ended up being noo refundable without condition and terms, have been asking for additional fees which have never been agreed upon, and also it took about 2 weeks and numerous emails just to confirm the money was transferred.
