Firstly I was disgusted that the agent wanted to charge me extra on top of their fee for photos and a floor plan of my property. This is a basic function for an estate agent and their fee should cover include these costs. This really is profiteering on their behalf. They also undervalued the property in my opinion for a quicker sale. Luckily I spotted this before it went to market. They really did nothing to promote the sale of my property. Although it did sell I was very disappointed in their marketing of the property. It was removed form the website when a buyer was found leaving no back up option if the buyer pulled out. This meant that when the buyer did drop as happens in the selling a property process they didn't have any other options. They had stopped marketing and actively carrying out viewings as they thought the sale was a done deal. Meaning that the sale process was extend. I used them as they have a good presence in the area. However overall I wouldn't recommend Stags.

Their fees are fairly standard in the industry but do not offer value for money. A necessary evil

We are extremely disappointed to read of your dissatisfaction with the services you received. We believe we agreed the sale of your property within 14 days of its launch to the market. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control, the sale fell through. One of our negotiators spent a considerable amount of time, effort and energy in repairing the sale which was done quickly and efficiently. Your property then effected an exchange in a timely manner thereafter.

We always discuss both the commission rate and the importance of both professional photography and floor plans with our clients, which you agreed. You chose not to have professional photographs taken but did agree to pay for a floor plan. It was upon these instructions that we commissioned the floorplan on your behalf and you agreed to pay the supplier direct for this service. We would certainly welcome the opportunity of meeting you to discuss your concerns further.
