We have had such a bad experience letting with Ims Lettings Derby [Pride Park]
the garden was in such a poor state [On leaving we was charged an amount for the poor state it was in !]
leaking overflow [eventually rectified]
main bedroom the blinds came crashing down bringing plasterdown. eventually rectified
the walls in the property were dirty [on leaving Ims gave us a cleaning cost for the walls!
the toilet needed constant plunging
the extention roof was perspex with holes in it..reported to Ims a workman came out and nothing was ever done..
we ran round with buckets, mopping up and the dangerous situation of electrics feeding washer and dryer made things worse...many phone calls later.. another workman came out and told us the extention was unsafe and needed to come down..this carried on for months mopping up, trying to keep electrics dry...with no help from Ims or the landlord... we are disputing the lack of bond back..ignorant company, have not even bothered to answer emails!
What agent could do to change your mind?
try to understand problems tenants have
converse with each other when a problem arises [instead of the tenant repeating the problem]
inform management [or does management know of the problem] none of us really knows! because we dont get a respond from them either!
do not try to take costs off the tenants bond that are unfair and to my mind profit making!
