Our development received a 1st notice to repair and paint all exterior woodwork and this work should have been carried out in spring/early summer of 2011. No second notice ever came out, no work carried out despite numerous complaints to the company. Numerous further complaints followed but no action taken noresponse until owner of 35 went into the company at Wigmore in April making another formal complaint, her third. OM sent out Daniel to meet with her and other residents at no.35 Catchacre. Daniel was also told on that day and inspected for himself the awful state of windows, doors and exterior woodwork plus all communal and front gardens on the whole development. He promised new gardener would be out the very next Thur. A gardener finally arrived on the 19th June and Mrs Fletcher of 35 had to tell him which areas had to be done. He told her this was a one off visit, he had not been asked to come again. Residents from 35 37 & 31 hav sent further complaints by email and txts since to Daniel, his boss Eve French and another to customer services asking for an appointment to see head of the company, but no response. We are all now being asked to pay management fees on 1st July and we are angry and wonder where all our money from 24 properties is going. Nearly 37,000 is held from us already and what do we have to show for it.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Give us the service they are contracted to provide us with and allow us an annual meeting with our development manager to air any problems that may arise and then deal with them promptly. At present we have single glazed front doors and our woodwork is in an appalling state being promised it would be done last year, then told this year and would be done in June and June is nearly over. Also communal areas and front gardens need to be done fortnightly as you are contracted to do for us plus regular maintenanceas is required to keep the Catchacre development looking as it should.
