First impressions (at the property valuation) seemed very friendly, helpful and we were extremely pleased with the service offered. Unfortunately from that moment things went down hill. Photos published weren\'t the best quality and descriptions were not what we were hoping, but (our fault as decided we\'d leave it to them as they were the professionals rather than us).
After leaving a set of keys with them, we had 3 viewings, the first, went ok, but we had to call the estate agents to get feedback. 2nd was very unorganised and didn\'t help by the estate agent not knowing what they were doing - leaving the keys at the office as they didn\'t know they had them in the office even though we\'d said we weren\'t going to be at the property. This in turn meant the potential buyer walked away as they couldn\'t wait for them to go back and get the keys, they then didn\'t come back at the time they arranged to later on. . . so a possible sale lost.
3rd viewing - house sold.
From then on, we had very little to do with the estate agents, apart from asking why things were taking so long when the buyers were the ones that wanted to move quickly. Every phone call apart from one, that we made to them asking them to call us back, I had to call them back to get to speak to them. REALLY not very impressed.
Then when it came to the completion date, we received a phone call regarding the keys (and dropped into the conversation was a \'congratulations\').
This coming from a company that is known throughout the county and we were recommended to by relatives, neither of us will be using them again, and certainly do not recommend using them.
VERY unimpressed with customer service. It seems, all they wanted was the money from selling the house and once they knew it was coming, that was the last we heard of them.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Very poor customer service, never returning phone calls - we had to call them to get any feedback to the house viewings and any questions we were asking to be answered, we had to keep calling back each time rather than them returning the calls as they had said they were going to.
The only way to get them to call me back was when I said that I was considering pulling out of the sale. Really shouldn\'t have to offer altermatums to get them to do the work done we\'re paying them to do.
For the amount of money they were paid, I do NOT consider this value for money in the slightest.
