Firstly, the viewing of the house was late and we were not informed so we waited outside the house at 9.30am for over half an hour when we had travelled for over 4 hours to get to the viewing. The agent who did the viewing was very nice however we were told on the day of move in that he had actually left the company so all the email enquiries i had sent had basically been ignored.

The agent we were passed onto had never seen the house before and when we got to the house- it was dirty, it had not been cleaned for us at all and the curtain/blinds were hanging off, the cracks and banisters which we were told were being repainted/filled in by contractors that week had not been done. The garden was totally overgrown- however as we had not specifically gotten the agent to write down that we wanted it to be tidy for us to move in-the agents are refusing to do anything about it.

One thing we did specify though was that we wanted beds- we have been provided with them, however they have not been set up and are still completely flat packed. The inventory clerk advised us that as it is not our property we shouldnt try to set them up ourselves. We ended up having no beds that night and one of the blinds fell down and hit one of the tenants. This is the 2nd day and still nothing has been resolved. We have a house that is dirty, has no beds for us to sleep on, an overwhelmingly overgrown garden, broken fixtures and the agent won\'t return our calls.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Dealt with all the issues as soon as we called them on the day of move in- or even if they had checked the house before we moved in they would have noticed these issues.
