For those who are brave enough to deal with them as a lanlord or all i can advice you is know what you are doing when dealing with them i.e. contract deposit ect.
I am a landlord that gave my property to them to rent out this was the first time i rented my house to anyone so i chose victorstone. I can honestly say from the beginning till the end of the tennency everything was fine the house came back to me in a nice state just one door broken but i was happy. But i wasnt payed the last months rent so i payed them a visit and i was told the last months rent will be given back to the tenent as the deposit. As i was new to renting my property out i wasnt 100% sure off how all this worked so i left victorstone assuming the money will be returned to the tennent. Only to find after a few weeks that my ex tennent calling me saying she didnt recive her deposit so again i went to victorstone and i was told their gonna sort everything out i told the tennent it will be sorted out by the agent so. The tennent never contacted me so i was under the impression that its all sorted. Only to find after one year that i have been serverd with court paper i contacted my solicitor he contacted victorstone and was told the company has closed down. Since it was over one year from the tennency i ended up loseing most of the paper work from the tenancy agreement and was instructed solicitor not to let it go to court and try to settel it out of court wich i did lucky for me i was able to pay it back in installments but i could imagine the headach the tennent went threw i was very dissapointed on how much all this cost me and all the headach. Like i said i would strongly advice anyone not to use them but if u do decide to deal with them then make sure u understand how this process off renting works
What agent could do to change your mind?
Payed back the deposit to the tennent
