This company is a front for many estate agents pretending they have conveyancing services. The reality is that this company has a relative monopoly on part of the market where it white labels its terrible service for estate agents who no doubt take some sort of cut and throttle the market so that solicitors rely too much on them allocating clients to them.
As a first time buyer I was niaive enough to think the convenience an estate agent's conveyancing service could provide would be of benefit. The reality of this is they become a useless intermediary between you and a solicitors they decide for you - which you could quite as easily find yourself and save yourself some cash. They will charge you excessive search fees and not be transparent on other third party costs (disbursements). Nobody wins in this relationship except them, the solicitors will pay commission no doubt and Move With Us scrapes every extra £ out of third party costs they can.
The friendliest bunch in the world when they want your card details. Once you've been sucked in, the customer service is atrocious as not only do they not reply to their email, they never answer the phone at any time of day either, forcing you to leave a message so they can ring you back when they feel like it. Their team became rude and unhelpful, dragging their heels over a refund claiming I'd given them the wrong card details - interesting given they read them back to me and they were all correct.
Don't touch them with a bargepole.
Comment on agent fees
Terrible rip off. They heavily mark up fees and are not transparent about what's included and what isn't, citing them as 'uncontrollable third-party costs' - weird considering other companies have no problem finalising numbers.
