I took services of Rawlinson gold while renting out a property.
This agent Pervinder Brar is dishonest and his service is terrible.
At the time of move-in, he agreed to come at the property when we landed there with the luggage and waited for 10mins and didn\'t find him...we gave him a call and he said, you need to come to my office. That was definitely not the case before.

In the contract, he skipped putting the 6 months clause..when we went through the contract and asked him..he said: oh, sorry missed out! it was not a mistake it was deliberate because he did the same with the next tenants at the property!

When leaving the property we gave a month\'s notice as per the contract..the agent tried to dupe us by saying we have to stay till the next payment date and we went back and confirmed with landlord that 1 month notice and even after that, he was trying to force us to pay till next payment date i.e. about 45 days.

We are shocked to hear of your disappointment with the service you received from Rawlinson Gold, as you will see from our other reviews, this is not a typical response from one of our previous customers. We would assure you that Pervinder carried out his duties as instructed by Rawlinson Gold. Our staff are advised NOT to meet tenants at the property at move-in, the tenants MUST come into our office. With regards to your notice period, tenants are required to give one month's notice - this notice however, as stated in the contract, MUST be given on or before a rent day. If notice is given late tenants remain liable for the rent up to the date the notice should expire, (one month after the following rent date). Tenants are not obliged to remain at the property until that date, but they do remain liable for paying the rent. Therefore again Pervinder was acting as instructed and it seems you are blaming him for things that were out of his control.
I would assure you that leaving the break clause out of your contract was not intentional, Rawlinson Gold, nor Pervinder himself, would benefit in anyway by doing this. Please be assured that it is company policy to inform all tenants they should read all documents carefully before they sign them, we make sure they are given sufficient time read the documents before signing to ensure nothing is omitted. We are sorry you felt strongly about adding this review, however I hope I have clarified our position.
