They are full of lies. They rented me an illegally operating unsafe flat, full of mould an rodent. They still have not returned a call or my deposit! STAY AWAY!!!!!

1. Follow the link to each of the three schemes & check whether deposit is registered.

2. If it is, then ask for info on how to proceed.

3. If its isn't, then download LL's name & address from the Land Registry, using the tenanted property address to search and/or write recorded delivery to the LA requesting the LL's details. If they try to say they can't pass them onto you under data protection laws you tell them that they *can* when legal proceedings may be in the offing.

4. Once you have LL details then send something like:

Dear LL

Tenancy of (address) from (start date) until present

As requested , I paid a tenancy deposit of
