I want to give zero rating to this useless company. I thought I was among only a few who were so frustrated with this property management company until I see all the reviews here. I have a leaking in my bedroom for more than 8 months, yet they failed to identify the source.
• We advised FirstPort Property Services that water was leaking into his bedroom on 03 December 2016. The leak was intermittent in the beginning but became constant since Feb 2017 and that it has even worsened in recent months.
• I chased that matter with the firm many times since he raised it with the firm, but the firm's office didn't take swift and effective communication approach to arrange necessary access which result in so many scheduled investigations ended up achieving nothing.
• The firm's office failed to follow up efficiently the investigation by only communicating the repair requirements to relevant Flats weeks after the investigation and failed to verify the repairs for so many times.
• The firm didn't use the full powers available to it under the lease when it became necessary to enforce the requirement of other residents in the block to allow access to their properties to fix the issue.
•There are significant damage and mould growth in his bedroom because of the leak.
• He has been unable use my bedroom for months because of the leak and the damage it has caused.
• We have received such a poor level of service from FirstPort Property Services while contacting it regarding the issue.
When FirstPort knew we have RTM to take over the building in one month and the leak continued they just stopped doing any anything to stop the leaking as it continued, we have to arrange a plumber by ourself with the help from residential association to investigate, then the leak was stopped in one visit by our own effrot.
I understand sometime it is not easy to find the leaking source but 8 months is ridiculous and so frustrating to me as we haven't been able to use the bedroom for months with the mold grow on my ceiling. So slow response, no proper follow up process, only recently arranged a proper on-site investigation only to find out some old leaking issues which have been confirmed by Firstport to be already fixed about 4 months ago. Weeks of waiting without much response and progress when the leaking is still damaging my bedroom . I always wonder about how they can so efficiently chase the delayed service charge by letters and fines while not providing much service.
