Worst estate agent i have ever dealt with and i have dealt with many! very rude and obnoxious. Do not let this company let your business premises! Its a nightmare to arrange a viewing and the customer service is a disgrace to the business, no call backs, i asked to leave the manager feed back and the lady on the phone said my feedback was not important . Shameful.

(If only the landlord of the old cayman reef in coalville knew how they spoke to the future clients)

Aha, finally I know who Mr C is!

I recall you indeed did want to view the retail unit in Coalville and we did advise you that we were awaiting Landlord's instructions before we could arrange any viewing.

We most certainly did contact you when we received instructions, but unfortunately you were away on holiday and unable to view.

We furthermore advised you when the Landlord had decided he was proceeding with the people who are the current tenants.

Clearly you were upset at missing out on the opportunity for this shop, but that gave you no right to speak to my staff the way that you did. I am not surprised the Lady you spoke to on the phone said your feedback was not important as I heard the whole conversation and, whilst she was trying to explain the situation to you, you were the one who was being both rude and obnoxious. The only regret I have is that I was unable to take the call as I was engaged with another customer.

I re-iterate, I can assure you that our client, the Landlord, is very happy with all of our dealings with his properties and particularly with the tenants in this unit.

Dear Mr c,

I would welcome the opportunity to deal with this matter accordingly but have had no complaint, written or otherwise.

We had a considerable amount of interest in the unit to which you refer and made everyone aware that we were not able to arrange viewing until we had instructions to do so from the Landlord.

It took some time to obtain these instructions, which was clearly beyond our control, but once we had them we immediately contacted ALL the people who had asked to view and I arranged to meet them at the shop on a specified day. I appreciated that some of the people we contacted were unable to go at all that day, however we did give plenty of warning when we were going and would have arranged a further day to view if we had not got interest from the viewing that we had arranged.

There was not one person we didn't call back and, at the very least, leave a message if we were not able to get hold of them in person.

This is very common when dealing with Commercial property and is certainly not the actions of a company with whom is it a "nightmare to arrange a viewing".

As it was, we got various interested parties and terms for a new lease with the Landlord's preferred choice were agreed shortly afterwards. We advised ALL the other parties accordingly. I fail to see what more we could have done nor how we could have done this any differently.

The Landlord was kept abreast of the situation throughout the process, as of course we would always do, and we worked entirely with his full knowledge and with his specific instructions.

I would add that, as a small firm, we have a good working relationship with all of our Tenants, and our Landlords, many of whom we have dealt with for a considerable number of years.

We were very sad to see the Caymen Reef shop close - they were amongst the longest standing tenants we had and I know for certain the previous tenant would have nothing bad to say about us or the Landlord, as indeed we would have only good words to say about them. We remain friends and are still in touch.

I am sorry you felt the need to write this review but can assure you that our client, the Landlord, is very happy with all of our dealings with his properties.

The question needs to be asked , Do Pigott & Hall ever inspect the properties that they supposedly manage? If the state of the back garden of the house next door to me is anything to go by then definitely not. Old furniture, huge piles of discarded ...

To answer your initial question, yes we do inspect properties, though that ability has been severely restricted by the Covid lockdown where we have been advised not to carry out inspections unless absolutely necessary. Had we had such a report, however, we would of course have carried out an inspection straight away, but we have had no contact from anyone advising of any such issue at a property that we manage. Perhaps you could contact us - the contact details are on our website - and let us k ...

I have to wonder exactly what this company actually do when it comes to property management. They have been letting out a house very close to where I live for years. With each tenant the yard gets more like Steptoe and Sons junk yard and ...

I have just responded to your latest comment, which is pretty much along the same lines as this one and is equally as vexatious. Firstly, you have not had the courtesy to report any of this to us direct, and I am not aware that any of the properties we manage, which do get inspected, have a junk yard at the back. As I have said on your latest comment, inspections this year have been greatly restricted due to Covid restrictions and the lockdown, but any such report would be treated very serious ...
