The Cedar Estates maintenance team are the best I have come across having rented a number of properties for the last 7 or so years.
This is mainly down to good communication - there is always someone at the end of an email or telephone (usually Vicky) and we\'re always kept in the loop on what\'s happening with our issue. If we do chase them, they never make us feel like we\'re a pain for nagging or emailing, which is nice because often previous letting agents I\'ve experienced seem to forget that the property is your home and not just a business.
One instance recently was testament to this when our boiler broke and we thought we wouldn\'t get it fixed for 5 days. Vicky was on leave so we thought there was no chance - but Jonathan took over our issue and got us the plumber, and the new boiler part for the next day (Saturday) which is fantastic.
The reason I have only rated Cedar Estates an overall \'Good\' rather than excellent is because we didn\'t have the best experience with the sales team. When viewing our current property 5 months ago, the agent who showed us around had no idea what he was selling us and obviously didn\'t know what double glazing or central heating was because the flat had none and he had told us, even when I was tapping the window in front of him, that it was double glazed! We had to explain to him what it was and when he said the landlord would be happy to put it in we then explained how much it would cost. He thought that having a boiler meant we had central heating - so we pointed out there were no radiators and that it was just for hot water!
When attempting to negotiate our terms of contract to stay in the property, the guy didn\'t come across particularly well and was quite pushy - and finished our final conversation by trying to offer us another property which didn\'t go down well.
So once you get passed the sales team and in the flow of your tenancy agreement - Cedar Estates have got to be one of the best.
