This company is an absolute Joke! Since we moved in we have had nothing but trouble, 2 months after we moved in, our Boiler Broke (in winter), we tried several times to contact Centrick but all you ever get is a young girl answering who cant do anything but take messages, and the managers are "ALWAYS BUSY", too busy to deal with the tenants problems because they cant be bothered, after about 40 calls and 1 month of waiting, we got a reply, not from the manager himself but a messaged he passed on to the Girl on the phone, "sorry we are still pricing up Boilers and will get back to you asap", this is 2 months later! they where still pricing up Boilers whilst me, my partner and 8 month year old baby were Freezing! even though we had stressed this to the them they still decided to fins the cheapest boiler! what an absolute joke! after 3 months an engineer was sent out to fix a part on the boiler and the boiler didnt even need replacing!
About 6 months after living in Tobacco Wharf we had a thunderstorm, during the heavy rain we had a leak coming from all three windows in the apartment. we contacted centrick and they told us that were not the only tenants who were having problems with the windows and they will have someone come out and fill them in ASAP. its now been 12 months and no one has been out to fix the windows and they still leak!
about 10 months into living there we had the managers come round and view the apartments to make sure we are looking after them, they were really impressed with our apartments and asked could they use it as a show room to take photos for the website and for viewings, we allowed them to use out apartment numerous times until we received a letter, a letter which stated "we have information that you broken the Front door of the building and if you dont pay the outstanding balance within 7 days you will be charged further", we were outraged as we played no part in this incident and had no idea the front door was even broke! we emailed back asking for photographic or video evidence as there are cameras and they replied "we have received emails from two of the tenants that you broke the door", we dont even know anyone who lives in the building so there is no reason at all for any tenants to hold any grudges against us, so we were led to believe that centrick were lying so we would feel forced to pay the bill, after numerous emails saying we will go to a solicitor, we received an email stating "sorry, we will no longer be investigating this incident".!!!!! absolutely ridiculous!
PLEASE! do not fall for these cowboys! they will never listen to your problems, even if you had no water, electricity or even glass in your windows, they dont care!
Find someone who cares and look at reviews!!
