Had a pleasant 3 years with Heaton property in their house share scheme, across 3 different properties. Although I agree they do take a lot more interest at the beginning of signing the property (I feel like this is common with most property companies) and lose interest further into your tenancy. They have never treated me with any disrespect or problems, 9/10 times if there is an incident someone is sent out within a week to assess and repair if necessary.
This is not always the case with damp or minor issues. We did continue to complain about our shower that was leaking and cutting the electricity, they came out multiple times and stated it was due to blockages. This continued until it kept tripping the electricity and they finally detected it was a more serious problem and spent money fixing this.
Overall though it wasn't a bad experience, typical of a lot of housing companies tbh. The only thing I will say is they will try to take the smallest things out of your deposit.

Very similar experience as well and ridiculously similar emails from the agency. We’ve been told they’re finishing up some big summer jobs and that they need more time.
