The least professional and most invasive letting agency I have ever come across. In a dispute surrounding the notice that we, as tenants had to give, the owner, Darren Winnard, has emailed a number of my superiors at my current employer confidential details 'accidentally' in an effort to humiliate me. Fortunately, I work at a law firm and am confident in my legal position, any other persons not in the industry could have been easily intimidated by this bully.
Our fixed term ended, which states 1 month notice period. We were told we have fallen to a statutory periodic tenancy agreement meaning we must give more notice. I understand and accept this. I do not accept them enforcing terms in the expired contract and disregarding others. Blatant bullying tactics and underhand methods mean that letting through this racket could result in workplace embarrassment for tenants that have been model occupants but knew their rights when it came to contract enforcement.
When their staff have tried to force you into submission with talk of statues and legality and their tactics fail - they look to the owner to intimidate you. If you want to be treated as squatters after 12 months of model tenancy; look no further.

Having looked into this matter further I am satisfied that you received all of the correct documentation regarding your legal obligation surrounding your agreement reverting to a Statutory Periodic Agreement.
The associated documents provide information regarding the notice period and are also printed in red and underlined so as to stand out and avoid any confusion.
We are totally confused as to why you would comment that you were treated like squatters as there was always a clear and written legal standing at all times that all parties had to adhere to.
If you require any further assistance or explanation on the legal standing surrounding the statutory periodic agreement then please feel free to email me: [email protected]
