Purple Frog have been great throughout the tenancy at fixing problems that we have and have generally been friendly throughout. However when it came to getting the deposit back they were charging extortionate rates for very little work that needed doing. They tried to charge us for problems that were in the inventory and they were in general very rude at the end of the tenancy. The check out clerk made sure we had no time to clean anything he found despite previously being told we would have time.
I have friends who have had similar experiences and in general I would avoid letting with them if you want to see your deposit again.
Comment on agent fees
The fees were standard at the start of the tenancy but for anything you have to pay to do with the house it is extortionate.

Im sorry to hear that youre upset about your check out inspection.
We try to do these inspections with one of the tenants present, so that you can see why weve added charges. We try to be as transparent as possible.
As you can imagine, it is a very busy time of year for us, as we have hundreds of tenancies coming to an end. That said, the person shouldnt have been rude to you. Please can you let me know their name? My contact details are at the bottom of my message.
We do try and make it as clear as possible what sort of things the clerk will look for during the final inspection. During the last month of your tenancy, you should have received some emails giving help and advice about moving out, including a check list to help you clean:

This also includes guidance on charges that might be applied.
You mention that you believe that some of the charges are unfair. You are able to dispute any charges that believe you shouldnt pay. You can do this when send your deposit statement. This normally takes no more than 28 days after the end of your tenancy.
