Awful from day one. When I moved in to my unfurnished property my first job was to dispose of a pile of urine-soaked towels left by the last tenant and to practically rewrite their woeful inventory. It was as if they\'d never been here. Flat certainly wasn\'t cleaned to the standard they are expecting when I leave.

They do not return phone calls, they do not follow up on problems. They make promises to effect repairs and then, when they forget to action the promise they blame their tradesman, pretending that the tradesman simply didn\'t turn up or feel like doing it, such was the bizarre excuse given to me by their office manager. When the tradesman themselves tell me that they haven\'t heard from Tucker Gardner despite investigating faults and awaiting instructions on repair TG, by way of wheedling language, calls them liars and claims never to have heard from them. In a 10 month lease I have had to catch and dispose of mice and suffer the stench of their urine until the job was complete (although it did stifle the smell of mould for the period of the infestation, now I have to inhale the mould again), clean raw sewage from my bathtub due to blocked drains (that they were informed of), throw away clothing and furniture that became infested with mould, freeze when the heating didn\'t work properly, leave ground floor windows open all the time and throughout the last bitter winter (against the terms of my contents insurance and at considerable risk) because TG refused to get the extractor fans fixed, and spent over 2 weeks without a cooker hob while they forgot to follow up my many calls (although once you mention compensation they can move quite swiftly - odd). When presented with the exact details and timescales of their incompentence the office manager simply responds with complete denial. Her response: "I\'ll er...I\'ll have to have a look into it".

Absolutely, wholly disgusting experience. Try your hardest to avoid these incompetent, uncaring, unprofessional charlatans. Just waiting to see how much of my deposit they will now steal, because it will indeed be theft if it is not returned in full.

I\'m hoping to leave soon, be very wary about renting a ground floor flat in Waterbeach from this company.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Return telephone calls. Time frame not important just now, just work on returning them first - small steps. Follow up Record conversations so you know what each of you promised on each occasion Take your responsibility and the impact you have on people\'s lives seriously Take responsibility for your (MANY) errors - don\'t shift the blame onto your tradesman. Don\'t lie about them and don\'t pretend that you have no control over them. They work for you. Test appliances and fixtures before you let a property - don\'t expect me to pay to live with the discomfort of your laziness Visit a property before you let it, make sure it is indeed \'unfurnished\' and clean.

This lady was met by our managing director at the property and her concerns were addressed to the extent that she then sought to remove this review. She provided copies of submissions made to AllAgents but they have failed to remove the review as requested.
