We rented a property through Enfields at the Shirley Road branch - The fees were in excess of £400 for a supposedly managed furnished property.

Firstly the problems started with the referencing which had to be chased constantly by us as the tenants to get anything done.

Secondly, despite chasing them several times it was not until 3 months into the tenancy that we received the initial inventory, by which time a fair amount of redecoration by us had taken place - therefore changing the position.

Thirdly, with two weeks before the end of the tenancy to go the refrigerator broke down and despite contacting the letting agent approximately 20 times - no response was received to any form of communication!

It has been approximately 10 weeks since we have left the property and we are still having problems resolving the deposit because of delays by the agency in responding to any correspondence.

I cannot stress enough what a poor experience we have had with this letting agency. They are absolutely useless and only common decency prevents me from putting language in here that they truly deserve. If anyone were to consider using them I would thoroughly recommend not to.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The agent could have improved by actually doing their job and earning the over inflated fees they received.
