We put our property on the market, with Spicer Mcoll on the 4th of April 2011,with the Benfleet branch. We have never met such a bunch of unprofessional people. We signed an agreement for 16 weeks, and were told we would have a fee of £180 to pay if we broke the 16 week agreement, after a totally disgusting service all round, having a buyer and then being told by ANOTHER estate agent that our buyers had decided to buy another property, we told Spicer Mcoll on the 31st of October to remove our property from the market. Some weeks later, we had an invoice from Spicer Mcoll come through the post requesting their fee of £180. After contacting the Benfleet branch and disputing this fee as we had clearly not broken our 16 week agreement, we were then told the fee was payable if we withdrew our property from the market at any time with them. We have been pushed from pillar to post by Spicer Mcoll around internal departments regarding this dispute, and finally it now looks like a court case is pending.Bring it on Spicer Mcoll, im sure the publicity you will receive will be bad publicity, and if it saves at least one more family from falling for your LIES it will be worth it.
What agent could do to change your mind?
