Moving into a new property is often stressful/ However, on the first day, faced with overflowing bins, food waste strewn across the driveway and garden, wall-tiles so dirty you can write your name in them, a garden pebbledashed with cat poo, and a filthy oven is never a good thing. All strangely overlooked by the inventory!!
For the agent to pass the buck and say they are not responsible for the property speaks volumes. If an agency advertises a property, is happy to take your admin fee, your deposit, and required all their hoops jumping through to become a tenant... the minimum that a tenant should expect is cleanliness and hygiene in return.
Worse still is raising concerns about the property before moving in and being assured a "professional cleaning service" would be used? Really??

When an agent takes on a property, they must do more than just take the money. They have a basic responsibility to ensure the property is clean and fit for habitation.Attached Filesnbsp;

Rented for 3 years through SW as a letting agent, thoroughly unpleasant staff with revolting attitudes and bad communication skills and all in all would stay away in future by all means ! glad to be free of them quite frankly....

Bought and sold my house through Sims Williams in Walberton. Accurate valuation and achieved full asking price. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Local agent with a very good knowledge of the area. I would buy or sell a house again through this agent....
