** EDIT **...All fixed now so 5 star...2 large bath towels,4 small towels,4 bowls and 3 tea towels due to rain coming in to living room.7 months this has been going on due to the guttering needing fixing....7 months !!... Few more problems now,the rising damp has reached ...

I've lived around the country a lot, and have experienced a wide range of rented accommodation services. Luscombe is the worst by a large margin. Repairs are not carried out within good time, services that are included in the advertisement of lettings are not honoured.

The fees are generally ambiguous (I imagine intentionally), and you should not be surprised if they produce a new fee at a contract signing.

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service received. All references are carried out and agreed with a landlord before a tenancy is agreed and ensure that the landlord is happy to proceed before commencing any tenancy. A tenant is never advised that they can make their last payment from a deposit, however if this money is not paid, the Deposit Protection Service will allocate deposit money against a rent account before damages. Anything beyond the deposit amount has to be pursued ...
