Unfortunately, me and my flatmates have had a very bad experience with LudlowThompson, especially with the people managing our contract.
On signature of the agreement we were ensured that if we would have to change a tenant within the Tenancy period, the process would be smoth and they would help as much as they could, however they didn't help us and they made the process of changing tenant a nightmare, expensive, time consuming for everyone, included the landlords who had to mediate in orden to sort out the situation because LudlowThompson charged ostrageous fees that were not included in the agreement.
It was confirmed to the new tenant that T&C's of new Tenancy Agreement were "exactly the same" as the previous one, but, on review of the new T&C's, fees increased by +50% without previous discussion or even consent from the parties.
The Agency advised that they were new fees applicable to all new Tenancy agreements, however we had to seek for the explanation rather than being directly approached with new T&C's. Additional fees were charged in the process that were not included in the original agreement.
Lack of transparency, not fair nor professional.
I hope the Agency can learn from this feedback in order to improve in the future.
