OK. The online purchasing of our home was quick and easy.
That's where our good experience of purplebricks ended.
15 phone calls in 3 days asking duplicate, sometimes triplicate questions. Are we happy with a mortgage provider, do we want a quote for conveyancing blah blah blah.
Then, after buying and selling 8 properties- it became obvious what we pay the estate agents for. Yes the usual advertising and negotiating- but there is something they do that was never apparent before - FILTERING.
With purplebricks you deal with the vendors direct- absolute nightmare- mine were so high maintenance and unable to manage their stress, so as the usual delays and enquiries went on, they became a totally unbearable and borderline abusive, to the point where I had to ask them to only contact me through my solicitor.
I will never buy a house through purple bricks again.
