Lived in a two bed property which was let by the essays agents for myself and my daughter. Was an old flat with dated fixtures and fittings. House was filthy when I moved in needed a clean including walls which had dirt marks from the previous tenants. Intercom didn't work so I had to run up and down with a three year old child everytime the door rang. I was physically assaulted by the alcoholic neighbour because I didn't put my bin out one time. After the incident with the neighbour I was told by the other tenants in the building that people come and go regularly then was lied too by the agent told that someone lived there for years before so I was clearly allowed to rent a flat to opposite a violent drunk as a young single female with a small child, I lived there in the middle of winter and I was left with no heating and hot water multiple times during this period! The flat was infested with black mould around the windows and in the bathroom regardless of heat and ventilation. There was also an infestation of ladybugs from the trees in the garden so when you open the windows you had swarms of black ladybugs coming inside. I asked the agent to supply me with all the information I needed to renew my contract incase I couldn't find anywhere else to go and I had to stick it out in this hovel of a flat till I could seek further accommodation approx 2months before the end of my contract, I was told I would receive an email with everything I needed to know including a day I would need to do this by and it would cost me £50.. after no further contact I proceed to contact the agent to be told I need a gaurentor within the next five days and £300 oh and she would be referencing two new people in a few days so I need to hurry up. ( bearing in mind I paid 6monthd rent up front but they wanted more ) When it came to moving out I was told I would have my desposit back by the Wednesday (I moved out on the Friday) Wednesday came and went to which I was told no I was wrong she said ten days which is a lie as she was on loud speaker and I have a witness. I went with no money for two weeks! I would of been fine with it had I been told I had to wait two weeks my annoyance is the blatant lie that and being fobbed off and to top it off they had the ordasity to say that the flat wasn't clean enough when I moved in and it was horrible also sending me pictures of things that were already wrong like a rust stain on a blind and a cupboard full off shit that was there when I moved in which little did they know I only used two out of the three cupboards, all in all this was a nightmare from hell living in that place and I am so glad I don't live in there anymore but I want people to know that these people will never care about the people inside there houses as long as they get there money.. the whole thing is a joke beyond belief

Comment on agent fees
We paid so many different fees in the end after we had already paid £300 to reserve the property they started adding costs on extra £180 for inventory and extra £50 for an admin charge do not use this company!
