Con artists. Was buying a property and was continously told there's a higher offer when none existed. After 3 weeks of offers it was sold to someone else, which would've been fine, but it was sold at a LOWER price than what I had offered on my 3rd bid (I made 6 bids in total each £3-10k higher than the last). So in hindsight what Andy Varsani of Mischa and Co (4 North Parade, Mollison Way) was doing was to force me to bid against myself until I had enough and walked away so that he could sell it to his mate who would then use their lettings service to let out the property and make money a second time. I mean why settle for a one time commission when you can also get the more lucrative monthly lettings fee? No brainer really for the estate agent. Win-Win. But it's the seller losing out as well as the first time buyer who wants to buy a home rather than just an asset to add to an existing portfolio.
