Shark and fraudsters.
Moved offices from wilderspool to town centre. Unsure if Laura still works there.

Moved into a flat, signed contract stating my deposit of nearly £600 pound was woth Dps. Came to move out and he would not give me the deposit even after my landord had left them. After doing some research I found George had done this numerous times before. I contacted dps myself and they confirmed in writing they had never received any deposit under my name or the property address. * I plan on taking legal action and have been advised that its a criminal offense and he can be prosecuted. AVOID THIS SHARK AT ALL COSTS!!

Beware I think this guy is a fraud. My friend is having issues with this guy as he has taken £450 deposit and hasn't refunded after she requested and he said it would be in her account last monday. He said his mum died and that's why he hadn't contacted her, its been over 2 months and hes still not been responding - shes seeking legal action now. ...

I have dealt with George Hood over a number of years. He is incapable of running a business and takes some sort of perverted satisfaction from being as difficult as possible. He is not a fraud, but comes as close to being one as possible. ...

Hello - out of interest, have you had any luck in getting George to take responsibility for anything yet? I've made contact with my solicitor this morning following further reluctance from George to do the right thing - just wondering if you have any experience in how to approach him? ...

Avoid like the plague!!! Do not pay rent on time to Landlords. Don't put deposits in The DPS. Don't pay deposits back to either Tenants or Landlords. They don't seem to care even when legal action has been taken....

Awful! Hasn't paid a lot of its property owners rent from the tenants. Signed paperwork 'says' tenants deposits are in the DPS, they're not! Unable to contact them and seem happy to hold deposits hostage despite new letting agencies taking over and tenants still living ...

Terrible service. Avoid this agency by all means. They are bordering with fraud. Avoid at all costs. I'm still waiting for my refunds, my deposit and the additional fees. Uncontactable, won't reply to phones or emails especially when they owe you money....
