Landlords BEWARE ! This agent does not use bacs/ electronic payment methods to pay landlords. They use cheque. I've been a landlord for over a decade and I'm staggered. The worst part of this is, they don't tell you they pay by cheque. Not when you first enquire about their services, not on paperwork, and not when you phone up chasing payment. It is simply not mentioned.
The branch manager informed me that he didn't know whether his own salary was paid by electronically or by cheque ! My own salary has been paid by bacs for 21 years. No faith in them at all. Same information had to be sent multiple times. Referred to my husband by the wrong name. Left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
