I instructed merryweathers to Market and manage my property when I moved out of the area. From the very beginning I have had consistently poor service with terrible attitudes from staff who were bordering on rude. With also what seems to be a high turnover of staff there is never one person I never knew if my queries and issues were going to be looked into. It felt as though the agent were working for the tenant rather than the landlord who paid them the fee. I have always had to chase them e.g when the tenant was continually late with rent they never contacted first or sorted it out without prompting from ourselves. The tenant has just left the property in a terrible state but the final inspection was said to be satisfactory. We used an agent as we thought I would be easier being away from the county but it seems it was a complete waste of money as we did most of their work for them. In my opinion they are a poor performing agency who do not treat their paying clients well at all. I will not be using them again.

I think their fees justify the work that they put in to sell your property and they weren't particularly high in comparison to some.
